poloforparkinson15For those who may not know much about what goes into a non-profit fundraiser, the work is not about profits.  It is about what leads to benefits for clients and end users related to the cause.  In the case of Polo for Parkinson’s, the real story is about those who suffer from Parkinson’s disease and those who support them.

8th Annual Polo for Parkinson’s: A Fight Against Parkinson’s Polo Style

The non-profit fundraiser takes place October 11th.  The event provides attendees with a perfect opportunity to rub elbows with sponsors, contributors and volunteers for this good cause.

Aside from the polo match, lunch will be served by ‘Cue BBQ.  Open bar includes a selection of beer, wine and champagne.  A silent auction, raffles and Best hat contest are all part of the festivities along with a champagne divot stomp.

You can join the fun at the 8th Annual Polo for Parkinson’s at Chukka Farm & Polo Club by purchasing event tickets online.  Adult tickets are $50 per person. A reserved table for 8 costs $400.  Sponsorship opportunities start at $1,000 for the bronze level and extend as far as $15,000 for a naming sponsor.  Children can attend the event for as low as $5 each.
