In keeping with the philanthropic mission envisioned and instilled by founder Jack Cashin, Chukkar Farm will open its doors on June 14 for the Banks & Shane Concert and BBQ – a charitable event benefitting northern Georgia’s HomeStretch.
Opening for some of the biggest bands in history, Banks & Shane’s familiar banjo and guitar are sure to get you on your feet! From the Colorado ski slopes to the sunshine surf of just about anywhere, this Atlanta duo has put it together since 1972 and is still working it hard for anyone within earshot.
Banks Burgess and Paul Shane have represented a variety of Georgia interests in Europe and the UK and have even been recognized by the Governor of Georgia for their hard work giving back to the community.
BBQ to Benefit the Homeless
This latest charitable musical event benefits HomeStretch, a north Georgia humanitarian organization that aids eligible homeless families with small children to become self-sufficient and self-sustaining through training, supportive housing, mentoring and counseling.
The Banks & Shane outdoor concert is an early event, starting at 4 and ending by 8 pm. Admission includes your meal, drinks and all the entertainment you can stand. Tickets are available here or by calling HomeStretch at 770.642.9185, ext. 120.
Come prepared to boogie.
