unnamed (3)When you think polo, you probably think of the chic clothing lines by Ralph Lauren and his equally chic models and photo shoots. Ladies dressed in big hats and the latest fashions, and men in their white jean breeches and pressed polos. While many formal polo matches will adhere to this air of propriety, Chukkar Farms aims to make polo ‘everyman’s sport’ – instead of just the sport for kings. We invite you to join us for your very first polo match at Chukkar Farm! And so you won’t be intimidated, here are a few things you should know before you arrive:

What to wear?

The same thing you’d wear to a basketball game, or football game, or any outdoor sports outing – something comfortable and weather appropriate!

What to say?

Not sure what’s going on on the field? Ask! Anyone will be happy to answer your questions and help you understand the game. Think that now’s a good time to cheer? Go for it! We love for our spectators to get into the game and cheer our players on. You’ll see the ponies love it too.

Where to sit?

Our polo field is situated just below our covered pavilion. While there may be some seating available, it is best to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on the big hill and watch the game in comfort. You’re also invited to bring a picnic and enjoy your favorite snacks and beverages while you watch the game. We often have an after party so if you stay long enough, you’ll be able to chat with the players and pet some of the ponies.

Come on our and join us at Chukkar Farm for our Sunday Polo! We play every Sunday, all year long, players and weather permitting. Not sure if we’re playing? Call us and we will let you know what the plan is for the weekend. See you soon!

Polo matches and practices are NOW OPEN to spectators.

Please note, we are working with the county to acquire a permit for weddings and concerts. Until our permit is issued we will not be able to host any weddings or concerts.

Thanks for your understanding. We will update here when we are open for weddings and concerts again.
