With the onslaught of Georgia’s happy, shiny days of warmer seasons, Chukkar Farm is doing what it does best – providing a superior polo experience to enthusiasts in the greater Atlanta area.
Sunday, May 3rd marks the 2015 Opening at Chukkar Farm Polo Club– a social event to beat all others and a great family event to introduce the fast-paced sport of kings to the kids.
Starting at 2 in the afternoon, the polo match will end closer to 4pm at which time participants and spectators alike can enjoy a cookout of hot dogs and hamburgers. Bring a favorite side dish for sharing and a personal beverage (to share or not) and enjoy making new friends and perhaps seeing some familiar ones, as well.
Lawn chairs or blankets are highly recommended, as is sunscreen, a hat and an appetite for a casual and relaxed afternoon mixing with polo players and spectators.
Polo matches are played at Chukkar Farm every Sunday and open to the public unless otherwise noted on our calendar. Chukkar Farm also provides public restrooms and a playground for the early childhood polo interest.
Self-parking is located in the Chukkar Farm arena, located before the main entrance and admission is just $20 per vehicle. Entertainment is unlimited.
In the event of rain, Opening Day will be moved to the following Saturday, May 10th. For additional information on how to capitalize on the polo experience, click here.
