Show of hands, please: Who here is sick of lame conference-room parties with fluorescent lighting that can make even the brightest of confetti seem unfestive?

All of you?

Don’t worry, we are here to help.

Chukkar Farm knows how to throw a great party. Whether it’s a wedding, an after party for a polo match, a charity fundraiser, or your company holiday party, celebrations at Chukkar Farm are always going to be unforgettable thanks to this amazing location. But, to help guarantee success, we’ve got 3 tried and true tips for you on how to make your company holiday party a hit.

Company Holiday Party

Don’t throw a lame holiday party.

1. Incorporate a Charity Event

After the 2008 recession hit, the old over the top style parties have gone out of style. Instead, incorporate a charity event or volunteer drive. This turns the focus of your party into getting to know your coworkers and building company spirit rather than simply flaunting success to your competitors.

2. Make it Flexible

The holidays are a busy time. Instead of forcing all of your employees to bear a 5 hour seated dinner event, make the party more of a reception style. This allows for more intermingling, networking, and will give your guests the freedom to come and go as they please.

3. Focus on the Food

In between chatting it up and making the holiday small talk, your guests are going to want to keep their hands busy and their bellies full. Provide delicious food and drink options. Make sure that you offer enough variety that everyone can find something that satisfies their craving, but don’t feel like you have to provide one of everything.

Keep these three tips in mind when you are planning your company holiday party this season. Chukkar Farm has an abundance of event planning experience and we would be happy to help you make your holiday party a success!
