The Peach Project
One in three women and one in seven men suffer from domestic violence in the U.S. every year. Considered as a medical epidemic, the Peach Project is a way for physicians to get at the forefront of the fight against domestic violence to build awareness and demand change. The mission was founded by a nurse who is a domestic violence survivor. She believed that the best place to reach a victim in need is the place they seek refuge and help; in the doctor’s office.
The goal of the project is to place resources, safety cards, and/or awareness posters in every private doctor’s office in the state of Georgia. The ultimate mission is to just save the life of at least one woman – and you can help!
Join us this Sunday at Chukkar Farm for an afternoon of pure enjoyment. The weather is going to be absolutely perfect for an afternoon polo match. You and your family are invited to come out and enjoy the farm while the teams play a couple of chukkars. Cheer on the players and the ponies while you browse through the silent auction.
