Fall is the best time of year to get outside and enjoy beautiful weather in Georgia. The temperatures cool off, the humidity finally gives us some relief, and this year we haven’t had much rain to interfere with our plans (although we wouldn’t mind a drop or two). This is our favorite time of year to be outside with the horses playing polo, trail riding, just enjoying our time with them. We invite you to join us for a Sunday afternoon picnic!
Fall Polo
There’s never a bad time of year to play polo at Chukkar Farm, but there are certainly better times than others. When the days get shorter after daylight savings, we move our games from the field to the arena. Arena polo is just as much – if not more – fun than field polo! Because we are in a smaller area to play, the games move a little bit faster. You’ll get to watch our players hone their skills as they learn the ins and outs of playing in the arena.
Bring your own picnic and set up a cozy spot on the porch of the Chukkar Farm Clubhouse to watch our players battle it out on Sunday afternoons. Play starts at 2:00 pm and we invite you to join us afterwards for our impromptu meals and gatherings.
The thing that sets Chukkar Farm apart from the rest is the sense of family that lives within the farm. If you’re here – you’re family – and we invite you to stay! See you soon for an afternoon of Sunday polo!
