Cara Cashin impacts everyone she meets. Her inviting simile, kind words, and selfless attitude make you feel as if you’ve known her for years, even if this is your first afternoon touring around the farm with her. Cara is one of the Cashin daughters that has dedicated her life to family, polo, and running  Chukkar Farm. If you’ve ever come by to see the facility for an event, learn about polo lessons, or even just come over to enjoy a Sunday afternoon of polo, chances are, you’ve met Cara, and you haven’t forgotten her.

Cara and her husband Kellum are indispensable assets of Chukkar Farm. While Cara coordinates and manages all of the events and activities at the farm, Kellum works endlessly to maintain the grounds and buildings – as well as announcing Sunday polo. This dream team has built Chukkar Farm into an icon of Alpharetta. Without Cara, Chukkar weddings would be impossible, private events would end up public, and fundraisers wouldn’t be nearly as much fun!

As much as Cara has given to Chukkar Farm and our community, it’s our opportunity to give something back to her.

Cara was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and is facing exorbitant medical expenses. Right now, her and her family need our love, prayers, encouragement, and support. In any way you can, your help is greatly appreciated. We are currently accepting donations for Cara to help her cover her medical expenses. You can mail your checks made out to Cara Tadsen to Lisa Mooney, 1140 Liberty Grove, Alpharetta, GA 30004. Every little bit will help her and her family make it through this difficult time!

Polo matches and practices are NOW OPEN to spectators.

Please note, we are working with the county to acquire a permit for weddings and concerts. Until our permit is issued we will not be able to host any weddings or concerts.

Thanks for your understanding. We will update here when we are open for weddings and concerts again.
