Polo for ParkinsonsWhat comes dressed in a big hat, Lilly Pulitzer, and matching shoes? That would be you at the Polo for Parkinson’s event happening this Sunday at Chukkar Farm Polo Club and Event Facility!

This Sunday, September 26th, Chukkar Farm will be hosting the sixth annual Polo for Parkinson’s party coordinated by the Wilkins Parkinson’s Foundation. This year, the Wilkins Parkinson’s Foundation has partnered with Emory University’s Movement Disorder Center, whose highly trained physicians and nurses apply the latest innovations and some of the most advanced diagnostic services, treatments and therapies for Parkinson’s and other movement disorders. Funds raised at Polo for Parkinson’s will be directed to research, education and awareness.

The event begins on Sunday afternoon promptly at 1:00 pm when the gates open. You will be greeted with melodic tunes from Roswell entertainer, Ashley Harris and enjoy southern cuisine catered by ‘Cue BBQ. We’ll also be filling your glasses with libations from the open bar. Throughout the afternoon and evening, there will be a selection of events for you to enjoy, including a thrilling Polo match which will begin at 2:00 pm. Watch horses and riders thunder up and down the Polo field vying to get their mallet in reach of the ball wile riding off their opposing players.

Don’t forget to stop by the silent auction. There you will find items ranging from gift baskets, to a Samsung Galaxy phone, to unique experiences like being a fighter pilot for a day or a trip over Napa Valley in a hot air balloon. The event invites you to come as you are or dress it up in your favorite seersucker suit or Lilly Pulitzer sundress, and don’t forget to top it off with the most flamboyant hat you can dream off. At half time, there will be a hat contest and the traditional champagne divot stomp.

Make sure you buy your tickets today and join us at Chukkar Farm Polo Club and Event Facility in Alpharetta, GA for an afternoon of family fun that benefits a great cause!

Polo matches and practices are NOW OPEN to spectators.
