Wedding season has started off with a flurry of flowers, some great music, and even greater food here at Chukkar Farm Polo Club. But, we’ve been so busy announcing our summer concert series, polo matches, and the passing of our sweet Helen Cashin that we haven’t gotten to share the joy of the weddings with you. Here’s a quick re-cap of some of our most recent weddings. Look forward to seeing more photos as soon as we get them from the photographers!

Allison & Kit

This was a truly cultural experience. Allison and Kit’s wedding was more than just the marriage of two families, it was the union of two cultures. The groom’s family is from Korea and they all flew in to take part in the ceremony. The ceremony was catered with some delicious and unique Korean food. To symbolize the union of both cultures and show each family their respects, Allison and Kit actually had two ceremonies – one American and one Korean.

Carla & Jamie

We were impressed by Carla’s calm and cool when the wedding had to be moved at the last minute due to rain. But, that is one of the great things about Chukkar Farm! We rented a tent just a few days before the ceremony (from The Rental Place, we highly recommend them) to make sure no one would get wet and it was a good thing we did. The ceremony was originally supposed to be down on the polo field but when the sky opened up we were all thankful that we had the tent and the pavilion ready to go. We catered the ceremony for the happy couple and cooked salmon and chicken, artisan bread, along with several other sides. We knew our food was good when the plates we were “scraping” to clean up were empty! Carla opted to use our decoration room to add the finishing touches to her event. For only $200, any of our brides can use anything in our room full of candles, lanterns, flower vases, etc.

Kylie & Kendall

Kylie and Kendall were our kind of people – DIYers! Everything at their wedding they made themselves and had their family and friends help set up and break down. With access to our rental room of accessories and decorations and little craft and ingenuity of their own, their wedding was absolutely beautiful and completely their own. We were happy to work with Mike Sabo again as he DJed the event and kept everyone’s feet moving all night long. Happy Belly Curbside Kitchen Food Truck made their first appearance to Chukkar Farm for Kylie and Kendall’s wedding. Voted as the healthiest food truck in the country, Happy Belly serves only organic, fresh food. Next time you see her truck, make sure you stop and try one of her delicious dishes served in a little bamboo wooden boat.

Katherine & Kevin

Katherine and Kevin’s families came together and celebrated a wonderful day. The event was catered by Coast to Coast Catering who we are always happy to work with. They bring a great crew that has attention to detail that’s hard to find else where. They also decorated the event and did a beautiful job. They are always happy and simply a joy to have at our events.

Our wedding coordinator, Cara Cashin says it best:

“Makes me happy to see people happy!”

Thank you to all of the families that choose Chukkar Farm Polo Club and Event Facility to host their barn weddings in north Georgia.

Please be advised that Polo matches and practices are not presently open to spectators.
