What involves great music, charities, and horses? That would be the Atlanta Plays it Forward TGIF concert series at Chukkar Farm!
Tom LaDow created this program as a way to raise money for local charities while giving local musicians, entertainers, and event managers opportunities to connect with new audiences. This non-profit organization is dedicated to supporting worthy charitable/community organizations and causes.
On July 17th, TGIF bring Capitol City Xpress to the rolling hills of Chukkar Farm. Meto Atlanta’s Jazz/Swing band, Capitol City has been together since 2006. Their set list includes everything from the tunes of the 1930’s to the modern charts of today. Their band is made up of members of the Atlanta community around you. Their members work day jobs in sales, marketing, information technology, own their own businesses, and they even have a few professional musicians among their ranks.
Join the loyal attendees of our outdoor concert series while they sit on the lawn and enjoy melodic tunes play through the night as lightning bugs dance through the trees. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer night in Alpharetta, GA.
Pack your picnic and join us under the pavilion at 8:00 pm. Be sure you grab your tickets in advance via EventBrite to be sure the show doesn’t sell out before you get here!
Don’t miss out on our future concerts. Only three more performances from TGIF for 2015:
August 21 – Pieces of Eight
September 18 – Divas of Swing with the Jazz Jones Legacy
October 16 – Atlanta Dance Party “Before the Music Died”
