Things we Want Our Brides to Know

Chukkar Farm has been in the wedding venue business for decades and we have a lot of experience to share with our brides. While wedding planning itself is not a part of our included operations, we have seen so many weddings at our outdoor barn facility that we would like to help all of our future brides avoid some mistakes.

DIY Decorations

We offer a ‘decorations closet’ to our brides and event hosts. A small fee ‘unlocks’ the door to the closet and gives you full access to everything that’s stored. Use it as you will and don’t worry about having to purchase or rent every item. This will really help you meet your budget goals for the event.

Vendors

All vendors are welcome at Chukkar Farm. You are by no means required to use vendors from our list, although we would suggest it. From the many years hosting events, we have a list of preferred vendors that worked well at our facility and, in our opinions, did an excellent job meeting the needs of their event hosts and guests.

Rain or Shine

Outdoor events can be risky in Georgia depending on the time of year – you never know what kind of weather you’re going to get. But, we can help you make all the contingency plans you need. We’ve had plenty of weddings that saw cloudy skies – but every one stayed dry thanks to the preplanning put into place but us and our brides.
