What is it that truly makes weddings perfect? Is it the bride’s hair? Her makeup? Is it what color the napkins are or whether you have chair covers or simple bows instead?

We understand that your wedding day is one of the biggest days of your life. You’ve been dreaming about it for months, maybe years, maybe even your whole life – and you want it to be perfect. At Chukkar Farm, we will do everything within our power to help make that dream come true for you. But, in our many years of hosting weddings at our Alpharetta, GA wedding facility, we have got the secret sauce for making perfect weddings. Want to know what it is? Keep reading.

1. Invite Your Friends

When it comes to the guest list, there are some people that you just can’t leave off – Aunt Betty would be extremely upset if she missed your big day, even if you haven’t seen her in 10 years. But the most important people you should invite are the people that you do life with. These are the people that see you through the good times and bad times. These are the people that remind you who you are when you start to stray, and that sometimes know you better than you know yourself.

2. Serve Good Food

If there’s a splurge that we can encourage you to make – make it on your food. If everything else was perfect at the wedding (we mean bridezilla perfect) but the food was cold/bad/tasteless/slow etc, your guests simply won’t be happy. And when they leave, they’ll find it hard to forget that the BBQ was dry and the mash potatoes were almost solid.

3. Be Yourself

It is your day – so make it you! Everyone is gathering, traveling, and celebrating this day with you and your significant other so make sure your celebration actually represents a compliment of the two of you – not just some random magazine photo.

Chukkar Farm is a one of a kind barn and outdoor wedding facility in north Georgia. We offer a wedding package that suits your needs from working 100% with your wedding planner, to offering you our DIY closet so you and your bridesmaids can come decorate the night before. We’re here to help you have a perfect wedding.
